This site and the instructional institution it represents, was committed to offering its members and affiliates the highest quality of expert instruction possible, free of ego and politics, while remaining dedicated to the teaching and promotion of the traditional Asian martial art forms along with their philosophies for strengthening the body, and balancing the mind. 

The Scranton Martial Arts Center (SMAC) TM was Northeastern Pa's #1 Chinese martial arts school, built on one of the area's oldest martial arts traditions.  The Center's roots were a landmark in the Scranton PA area for over twenty-five years.   The Center's teachers offered expert instruction in the various aspects of the traditional Chinese and Asian martial art forms to the adults and children of North Eastern Pennsylvania and the surrounding area.     

The curriculum and teaching practices mainly focused on practical martial arts not performance or sport arts.  It is for this reason that the Center remained unrivaled by any other martial arts school in the region and why the instructors will always take great pride in the level of high quality students that the Scranton Martial Arts Center was known for producing.
